Company Information

Bet365 is among the most popular betting websites for the UK market. As a sports fan, I have been with Bet365 for quite a long time and have had quite a pleasant experience with the website. Just so you can have some idea about the platform, it has a sports section, an in-play section, a casino section, and also a poker section – all of which I have tested and have been pretty satisfied with.

If you check out the website, you’ll also find that there is a full list of different languages to choose from. Other than English, you’ll also see Spanish, Dutch, Italian, Chinese, Russian, Romanian, and more. This in itself, shows how diverse Bet365’s market is and why it’s such a popular platform. In this review, I will focus on the in-play betting section or the live betting section of the platform.

Bet365’s In-Play Section – Navigation and Features

bet365 live betting sports

If there’s one thing you might appreciate about Bet365, it would be its style and structure. I can say that the design is rather simple but charming in its own right. Due to its minimalistic style, it’s effortless to navigate, overall contributing to its amazing user experience.

When you go to the homepage, you’ll immediately see the gaming options you can choose from. Since in-play betting is the main attraction, it can be found at the top. Below, you can find the buttons leading to the casino section, poker section, bingo section, and other sections. However, we’ll be focusing more on the in-play section for now.

Overview

When you navigate to the in-play sports section, the default page that you’ll be in is the Overview section. You’ll find that it employs the Bet365 primary brand colours. It uses green as the main colour of the background and yellow for the odds and betting options.

What you’ll love about this section is that it’s pretty organized. Betting options can be found on the left side while the middle shows the list of events. On the right section, you have your bet slip and some game details. Everything is right where it needs to be, so you can navigate easily.

Event View

Besides the Overview tab is the Event View tab. When you click on this tab, you will see the list of events organized based on the betting market. For instance, you’ll see soccer games under the Soccer heading, basketball games under the Basketball heading, and so on.

When you click on an event, the details will pop out in the middle. You’ll see the time, score, odds, statistics, and more. There is also a Favourites option which allows you to add events that you want to bet again on in the future.

Schedule

Next is the Schedule tab, which is right beside the Event View tab. For the regular sports section, you’ll see the scheduled dates for sports events that are expected to happen.

For in-play betting, you’ll see the time of the game and the live channel (this is for live streaming purposes). You’ll also be able to view the schedule of games per betting market, so you know which market you want to bet on.

Betting Options

Among the most essential factors in good Sportsbook are the betting options. Here, we’ll take a closer look at the betting options available on Bet365’s live betting section.

Available Sports for In-Play betting

Another thing that you’d really appreciate about this platform is its wide range of sports available for the in-play section. It has a lot of fan favourites such as live football, tennis, baseball, basketball, and horse racing.

Other than that, you’ll also find badminton, boxing, cricket, MMA, athletics, and many more to choose from. Take note that not all betting options will have available events in the in-play market every day. There is a schedule that is usually followed.

Markets

There are different markets that are available for playing in the in-play section at Bet365. These are betting options for football, tennis, horse racing, baseball, table tennis and many other sports. This may change per day depending on which sports events are scheduled for in-play live betting.

Available markets include betting on match winners, goals per game, sets/games, special bets in a myriad of more. For my experience, I think that Bet365’s In-Play section is one of the richest when it comes to available markets and events.

Odds

When it comes to odds, I find that Bet365 gives odds that are a little bit higher than that of the market standard. Their in-play betting platform, in particular, has pretty good odds that can gain you high winning chances when you bet.

Concerning the odds format, they offer three kinds: the fractional odds, the American odds, and the Decimal odds. The fractional odds are targeted to UK players, while the decimal odds are for EU players and the American odds for American players and other countries that follow the standard. Of the three, I prefer the UK odds since that is what I’m used to.

Live Stream from Bet365

live streaming sports thru mobile

Hardcore sports fans like me will really enjoy the live stream feature of Bet365. The good thing about the live stream feature is that it is made available for almost all sporting events that appear in the in-play section.

The live stream option can be found at the right side corner of the in-play section. You just choose the event that you want to play on, and the platform will show you if there is a live stream option or not. To use the Live Streaming service you will need to be logged in and have a funded account or to have placed a bet in the last 24 hours.

Match Live Feature

The match live feature is a really cool function that’s pretty unique to Bet365. It’s like this tracker that gives you details on the game live. For example, if I’m watching a soccer game, I can see the players move in the tracker function.

What I love about this feature is that it updates really fast. It follows the movement of the match without any lag time, allowing me to quickly and systematically formulate my betting strategy. Also, this is available for all in play events offered.

In-Play Mobile Betting

Bet365 has a pretty cool mobile platform for those who only play using their mobile phones. As per my experience, I have tried the Android app, the iOS app, and the mobile version of the website.

They’re all pretty much the same, with the only difference being how you access them. With the dedicated app, you need to download it from the respective app stores. The mobile version requires that you open your browser and enter Bet365’s website URL.

The mobile platform pretty much has the same features as the desktop version. The only difference would be the look. The mobile platform has a more optimized look to fit the size of your phone’s screen.

Pros & Cons of Bet365’s In-Play Section

As part of my evaluation of this bookmaker, I also came up with a Pros and Cons section for the in-play betting scene just to give you an idea:

  • Pros:
  • Live streaming feature available
  • Easy-to-navigate platform
  • Wide range of in-play betting markets
  • High odds
  • Cons:
  • No exclusive in-play bonus
  • Frequent limits for successful players

Payment Options

When it comes to payments, there are several options that I can choose from. The main options in my account include debit card, check payment, bank transfers, and eWallets.

Personally, I like using my Master Debit Card as I consider it the safest. Also, it has a short processing time of just 5 days, unlike some of the other options which may take around 2 weeks to process completely.

Contact Details

There are several ways that you can get in touch with the live support of the platform. The easiest way is via live chat, which can be found on the bottom right of the website.

Other options include phone, email, and fax, all of which can be found on the website. As per my experience, the live chat seems to be the best option since it’s fast and always available.

FAQs

Refer to the following questions and answers if you want to know more about Bet365’s live betting section.

Does the live betting section have a live scoreboard?

Yes, there is a live scoreboard in the in-play section. The scores update real time so you will be able to monitor the progress of the game as it happens.

Is there cash out feature in the live betting section?

Yes, Bet365 offers a cash out feature that allows you to pull out of a bet even before the event is finished.

What are the basic rules I need to take note of when availing of the welcome bonus?

To avail of the bonus, you simply need to create an account and make a deposit. From there, you will be able to get a welcome bonus.

What is the auto cash out feature?

This is an exciting little feature offered by Bet365. Let’s say I made a bet in the live betting platform but won’t be checking my phone all day. I can create auto cash out request instead. The auto cash out feature will immediately close my bet once it reaches a specific value. It is advantageous if you can’t monitor your bet from time to time.

What is the partial cash out feature?

This is another exciting cash out feature wherein I don’t need to cash out my entire bet. I can take a portion out and leave some just in case things go my way eventually. It’s an excellent way to secure some profits from only the first half.

Why are there only a few games available in the in-play section?

That simply means that only a few games are being held in that way. You can wait for more games to pop out as the website updates itself every time a new event is ready for live betting.

Do I need to create a new account to play in the in-play betting section?

No, there is no need to create a new account. The account that you use for regular sports betting can also be used for the in-play betting section.

Conclusion and Rating

As you can see, the in-play section definitely has a lot to offer to players, including the easy navigation, various cashout features, and the cool in-play betting features. I would also like to include the match live function, live streaming, and a live scoreboard. All of these things shape up Bet365’s in-play betting section to be one of the best that you’ll be able to find on the internet.

Of course, the biggest downside is that the website restricts winning players. Therefore, if you are deemed too successful at live betting, you may get banned. Other than that, though, the live betting scene of Bet365 wins in overall customer experience.

With all that, I’m giving it a total score of 5 over 5.
